So, I realize that my last journal entry was so long ago - a lot has changed.

I married my sweet heart and am living in Maryland, USA with him and our two furry children. We recently bought a house and are very settled! I am studying to become an Elementary School Teacher, which keeps me busy along with my current nanny job!

So... I have ALWAYS loved photography and, as you can see by my deviations, even have tried to take "artsy"/"good"/"creative" photos with my regular digital camera. I have always wanted a "good" camera, but what I want (especially when it costs so much) normally ends up at the bottom of my priority list.

Well, my wonderful husband has decided to take that matter into his own hands and he has purchased me a Canon Rebel XSi(450D). I am still a rookie and trying to grasp all that it has to offer, but so far...I am LOVING it!!! I can't wait to discover what it is capable of and to go out and capture the beauty that surrounds us.

The only thing that saddens me is that fall has already started, and most of the trees around here have already lost a lot of leaves, so I may not be able to capture the beauty of the changing leaves....THIS YEAR...but there are many years to come!!!
